Personal Narrative: Moving To A New School

Fifth grade: I was the new pup in the pack. Having moved away from my old friends, old school, and old town and now having to make new friends, in a new school, in a new town, I was lost. I had always had to face a new mountain to climb, or stretch of snow to treck. Many times, when the hill was too high, or the snow was too deep, I had fallen down and completely stopped; nothing within me pushing to go farther. However, as a new pup with new opportunities and a fresh start, something changed. Somewhere within myself, I had found my musher. This new force helped me move on from being afraid of being different and hesitant to take chances.
