Personal Narrative: Moving Back To Colorado

March 1st, 2013, the night I turned my freedom over to a 5ft2 blonde whose name will be left unmentioned due to the integrity I have. I was a dumb stupid freshman and could not see past all the warnings I received from upper classmen warning me about this girl. I thought she was the greatest thing that walked the earth. I felt I was in love and that she was the one I would marry some day. When I found out I was moving back to Colorado after my freshmen year I felt the world was coming to an end because that means I would have to leave her behind. We both decided that we would try long distance and visit each other when we had the chance. She came out to Colorado twice and I came back to South Dakota a few times to see her and it was one of …show more content…
There were times where they threatened to move me back to Colorado. After a month or two my parents warmed up to the fact of us being back together and life went on. That last semester of my junior year was also hell. Everything had to be on her terms and it was just an unhealthy relationship. One summer night I received a nasty text message from her (which happened occasionally) and decided that enough was enough and broke up with her. We went the whole summer split and once school was approaching I began to miss her and wanted to get her back. She played hard to get and made me work for it but eventually got back together at the beginning of this school year. The same circumstances happened again and history was beginning to repeat itself, everything was good when it was on her terms. We then were off and on for the second half of first semester but then one night my parents got involved and some rules were brought up about us seeing each other. My dad told me if I want to stay in South Dakota I would have no contact with her and she was cut off. We still tried being together and was off and on up until the end of Christmas break where I could not handle her anymore and blocked her from any social media site and had her number blocked. Since that day I have been able to live my life the way I want to and experience high school like everyone should be able

When I was 16 I moved to from California to Texas. During this time, I assume everyone in Texas wears a cowboy hat, boots, talks in a southern accent such as saying y’all and other such stereotypes. I assume the general understanding of Texas from what I was taught as a kid in movies, music, and shows. Once I moved to Texas that that type of thought was used against me, my classmates assume I probably l go to the beach and surf and have met plenty of celebrities when I lived in California. This is an example of REPRESENTATIVENESS HEURISTIC to judge or presume a someone or something relying on past experiences and mental representations to a new situation creating a particular group.…
