Personal Narrative: Mom Can I Get A Dog

“Mom can we get a dog” I asked real desperate. “Ask your dad” but I could tell that she wanted to say yes. Finally I got the courage to ask my dad. “Dad can we get a dog” I asked real scared. “No but we can get a bird.” “but I don’t want a bird” I said. “Birds are boring all they do is chirp”. Then there was silence.
A few months later… I asked again. “ Dad can we get a dog” “No” replied my dad.
“Please daddy” I begged after an hour there was a sudden silence. I thought that i had given him enough time to think about it but apparently not. I went to bed thinking. I thought that if my dad will ever say yes to get a dog.
The next day. SCHOOL. 5th grade. as I was walking home I wanted to walk very fast because I started to worry about my parents. AS I walked up the stairs I had a nervous attack because I thought that i heard a bark from the inside in the house. I heard it again. so I went inside a little nervous. My parents were standing in the kitchen. and there was also a little animal standing there in the kitchen as well . When I realized that it was a dog I went from really tired to really excited.
