Improved Essays
In January my drive to get out of Crafton by passing all my class was strong but then after the weeks going by it just took a tow on me. I won’t know if I passed my anatomy until tomorrow or Monday. Which is going to be feel like an eternity. My thoughts are still strong about passing all my class, but I’m mentally exhausted. The reason I felt so strong about this is because I can suffer now or I suffer my whole life working a minimum paid job. I made huge progress to my goals I’m only about 3 to 4 classes away from getting my AA in kinesiology and heading back to CSUSB and being a junior there. Thanks to this class I see everything around me different. I can see, read or watch something and not quickly judge something, but I’m more willing …show more content…
To get control back from advertisement, to understand what’s in our food and to stop being a follower. The objectives if this class were to think from outside in without judgment. Being able to see other viewpoints than myself. One thing I can say that I took from this class is confidence in my writing. In high school I hated going to English class. I thought this how it was going to be. I was shocked to see that I got an A in both my papers. I never thought my writing was ever that good. Also another thing I will take from this class not to expect company’s or anyone to tell us the truth. We have to do our own research because when people want to persuade there not going to tell you the whole truth, but just enough to get you to buy or join. I just want to say thank you for everything this semester. I’ve had many great teacher at Crafton, but you’ve have been the best. I missed my other classes a copy of times but I made sure to never miss your class because it was always so much fun. I know down the road I’ll have to take another English class to be able be to graduate with my Kinesiology degree, but I know I’ll be ready for

I have always been interested in learning and using new ideas. Throughout my life, I have invariably drawn from my life experiences, newly learned ideas and my continuing education to help problem-solve sensibly and realistically allowing me to move forward or help others reach their goals. Although I have no formal teaching experience, in my past work and involvement in organized sports, I have repeatedly used the Progressive philosophy. When dealing with 13 & 14 year olds many situations arise such as bullying, personality clashes or simply not understanding a drill or play. I deal with these situations by asking questions to stimulate a discussion, allowing them to draw on past experiences; positive or negative, consequently allowing them to come up with a solution or grasp the knowledge they are seeking.…

The semester before my freshman year I applied to an early college high school; I knew that I was going to have more work than if I had went to the traditional high school, but I knew I could do it. At first I was doing well, but as time went on the work became more challenging and frequent eventually my grades fell and took my pride with it. I wanted to transfer to the traditional high school in my neighborhood, but changed my mind after a talk with one of my professors. She helped me to recognize that if I quit not only would I be throwing away the work that I did do, but I’d also be preventing myself from seeing what work I could do. I took that seed of information and turned it into a tree of motivation.…
