My sophomore year I made the biggest decision in my high school experience. I made it into Miami Valley Career Technology Center, and I decided to switch to that school. I ended up choosing to go to MVCTC because I knew it would be the best opportunity for me. This school would allow me to have a fresh start in a more mature setting. This school allowed me to get a jump start on my career in criminal justice. MVCTC was a high school only for juniors and seniors. It had three giant buildings all grey, white, and blue. Almost all them didn’t have windows. It was crazy to see how much the school had on campus. They had everything needed for the forty labs which is a lot. This was something none of us ever expected to get out of coming to this school but none of us regretted it. It became a place I wanted to be, and I miss. Without MVCTC my grades would not have been a 4.0. I would not have done the things I feared most. I showed off my writing and competed in a competition, and even being in a debate by choice. If I could go back in time and change my mind I would not ever. MVCTC was the best place I could have ever ended up for high school. MVCTC gave me pride in my school work and I know it will help me succeed in college and the

My favorite job by far has been my internship as a career mentor in the Office of Career Development at my school. This internship has made realize why I love working with students. Even though it may be a very small interaction, I feel like I have made a small difference in their lives and I have helped them somehow.…
