“Oww!” I screamed when I bumped my toe against our wooden steps. When I looked down at my toe it was gushing out blood. As I walked up the stairs I was making blood footprints.
“Put on a bandaid” my mother yelled. Five minutes later when I was finishing my homework, my toe was bleeding through the bandaid!
“Mom it is bleeding through the bandaid.”
“That’s what it is supposed to do.” “Let's put another bandage and paper towel around it.” Then later it started to bleed through that! So after that my mom called my grandmother and said “Should I taker her to the ER?” “Her toe is bleeding bad.”
“How long has it been bleeding?” asked my grandmother.
“About 45 minutes.” answered my mom. “Let's go!” my mother demanded.
While we were in the car I was holding my foot. It hurt tremendously! When we walked in the lady took us straight back.

“Stay really still.” said the doctor when I was in the ex-ray room. “All done.” Me and my mom went back into the room to wait. It felt like we were waiting for an hour. Then finally this guy came in with a tape measure.
“What is that for?” asked my mom.
“We need to measure her for her shoe.” My mother looked puzzled. “ She broke her toe so we need to measure for her shoe she needs to wear.”
