Maze Runner narrative- Brennan Byrne
We just escaped the maze and still very confused on what is happening with me and my friends."its almost like we are being tested" Minho said. The maze was a very complex place, it changed everyday and we had to figure out its patterns. Me and Minho are the runners, which means we run through the maze all day looking for a way out and map out where we went for that day the others are called the Gladers . They farm, make the food, and protect each other, now that we have completed the maze they are these people that help us leave but it turn out they were the ones keeping us in the maze. They brought us all to a building and we went all the way to the top and they just left. We were very confused by this, there wasn’t much in the top floor just some posters and a wooden door

There were chainsaws and many sharp things moving very fast and at the end of the room we saw of stairs going down to the next floor. Me and Minho took action and tried to find something that could slow down or stop everything in the room, the walls were made of tiles which led me to believe one of them could be used to stop the room. We commanded the Gladers to touch every tile to see if one would work, we searched for a couple hours and none of them worked, we still had access to the first room we started in and we checked to see if there was anything in there that could help. There were three other posters, we searched behind them only to find a hammer, no clue what the hammer was for but Minho grabbed and started pounding on the wall and eventually broke it. There was a path behind the wall it was very dark but it led us to the other side and we went down the stairs to find a room full of bed then the intercom came on "congratulations you have completed the first room, you are now in the safe room there is one after every floor and this is where you sleep and where we bring you food. Get a good nights rest for now

My six word memoir was “Fought through the labyrinth of solitude” because I wasn’t really alone physically because I had my family but none of them understood me or I couldn’t show them I true self, like who I really am. It wasn’t really easy to do because I felt insecure even though I shouldn’t feel that way. I stayed true to myself and I kept that in mind and it gave me the strength to push through. So mentally I was me but outside I was a totally different person that everybody expected me to be but even though I had some faith that that would end someday.…

As soon as I passed the starting line, the chip on my shoe started running the clock; timing how long it would take for me to make it to the finish line. On Wednesday April 27, 2016 at approximately 8:50 A.M. I arrived with another online student, Sarah Johnson, at the Allegany County Circuit Court at the address of 30 Washington Street, Cumberland MD, 21502. The judge for that morning was W. Timothy Finan. Upon entering the front door, you had to put all of your stuff in tubs that they ran through the security scanner; while they were doing that, you walked through a scanner as well. On the other side you reclaimed your items. The security officer then directed us upstairs to the second court room.…

The house had a giant garden that had many wilted plants that were surrounding the house. There are lots of rumors around the town that the house is haunted as, around midnight there is always a shriek with the lights flickering on the top floor and, that has always been a mystery. Nobody has ever lived or went into the house except for one woman who had lived and died there years ago. Sunday, was the day she came, the sun shined brightly and the rooster crowed with joy.…
