So my initial reaction to this fight was that Conor had absolutely zero chance but then the press tour happened and I realize how much bigger Conor was than Floyd. I knew there was going to be a size difference but it was way more than I thought. So after the world tour I realized Conor is going to have a huge size advantage which he has had in most of his fights where he has overpowered all but one of his opponents. (That one being Nate Diaz) As the build up to the fight started to wind down and the fight started to get real I was a little nervous that Conor could land that one punch especially since he clearly had the size and movement advantage. Former WBC welterweight titlist Victor Ortiz said that he is open to have a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. to appease the demand of boxing fans around the world and give the unbeaten American a worthy opponent for his presumed final fight in September, as reported by Boxing News 24. The report said that Ortiz thinks Mayweather’s match with his chosen opponent, reigning WBA welterweight interim champion Andre Berto, is “not even a fight” at all and that both boxers should just retire rather than give such an embarrassment to the sport. “If anything, they both need to retire, or at least Floyd needs to give me some kind of chance to redeem myself,” Ortiz said, as if offering himself as Money’s last prey. He also added that he has “no respect…

From the moment Braddock returned home to his family I was emotionally involved in his story. He wasn’t just fighting for the money. He was fighting for his family and he had everything to lose. Rocky Balboa is my hero and a roll model for me. Today I had the pleasure of spending my whole day with my icon, in the city of “Brotherly Love”. We met up early in the morning at his gym for our morning workout. After we finished the workout we went out to lunch at Pat’s Dinner, where I asked him questions about his teenager days. The last thing that Rocky and I did on our day was that he took me through the city and showed me many of the places of the city that meant the most to him.…

I like to play sports that are highly self-dependent, and I have one that I love to participate in myself. That would be the sport of wrestling. The only way you can get better without practice is by getting stronger, and that is rarely enough to beat good kids.…
