Even though she was scared, worried, and unsure why she was chosen she was willing and open to follow God's plan with an open heart. Mary put all her trust in God and trusted his plan for her. As I go about my daily life I try to maintain a gentle personality as Mary did with my own family and friends.

: Upon examination Mary Roff and Lurancy Vennum although of differing ages, were alive at the same time, negating any claims of reincarnation. Being in the same town gives rise to the possibility that they could have met at some stage being of like minds literally. Also the ESP of Mary would have made her more likely to be a person of notoriety within the town. This could lead Lurancy to develop the alternate personality of Mary after her death if it wasn't a true case of possession. Although this thesis is still being revised, it states: Dario Fo had political and social triggers that led him down the path to creating a more modern—and revolutionary—giullare storytelling style that is comprehensible to masses around the world. I chose my focus(es) for multiple reasons. The first is that I need to understand why he revised biblical stories and, specifically, “Mary Under the Cross”. I believe if I understand why he chose it politically and socially, I can connect to it as well and create a better final product. Additionally, it is essential that I comprehend how it was revised by Fo and—hopefully—it will be helpful to my work on the scene.…

The Gospel of Matthew contains a number of verses that provide a conflicting yet intriguing insight to the status of women and the interactions that Jesus had with them. A consequence of these differing views is the uncertainty readers may have over the role of women and their influence in the rise of Christianity. Professor Rodney Stark’s essay on the role of women promotes the notion that women were major stakeholders in Christianity and acted as a catalyst to the religion’s rapid growth. Despite having references about Christian women with high status, the Gospel of Matthew emphasises more on the importance of their function in the Christian movement.
