“Now that is good, but what we want to know is exactly what she said and nothing more,” Michelle said.
Bowing her head, Beverly closed her eyes, and was quiet for several moments before she spoke, “Marlene thought her mother would be happy that she had found happiness with another man.” “It doesn’t matter what you think. That is not what you told us,” Michelle said, pointing her finger at Beverly. “I want you to tell the court and this jury exactly what you told me.”
