Managing my time has been the biggest obstacle I have faced all semester. Learning how to manage school from work and also giving myself time to study became very overwhelming. I did some research on calendar systems to see what system worked best for me. The three main calendar systems I came across during my searching were; making a list of task I need to accomplish, using a schedule book to stay organized, or to use an alarm on a device for events. The best calendar system that worked best for me was using a scheduling book to stay organized to manage my time. With this calendar system I realized that I could write everything down visually in front of me. The second point I realized was that I could write down everything I would want to …show more content…

Procrastinating made me feel rushed and I felt as though I would not be able to finish anything until the last minute. So once I started to use my scheduling book it helped me stay more organized then I’ve ever been. I learned to manage my time by getting all of my assignments done ahead of time. Going through this process took me a minute to adjust but I finally caught the hang of it after at least two weeks. I learned for my first semester of college that I had to begin to start taking that step the first day I walked into Tri-County College. At first my intentions were to just learn the work and finish the assignments on my spare time. Unfortunately, that was not the case I had to learn to discipline myself to gain the extra time I would want to do other activities other than school work. I also realized that I would really have to study my notes and my textbook not just one. I saw the increase in my grades when I actually took the time out to study for at least two to three hours through out a day. When I first started this semester I was worried that I was not going to pass my first semester because of my bad habits of procrastination. I’m glad to say that I accomplished my goal by using a handy dandy scheduling

When asked about my future after high school, I also have a hard time describing everything I want to get done because there are far too many things to name.
