Outside it was so cold it made snowmen teeth chatter, but that might have been us missing the summer heat. Once mum goes outside I dart upstairs and

I started this final with this question because it was playing on my mind at this moment. The Book of Tea, was something I needed. There are many things going on in my life that I have kept quiet about. My son’s complications from surgery, my daughter’s complete mental breakdown, my husband’s heart attack, and my severe flu, which I had to ignore to care for others, all occurred within a month and a half’s time. I have found no joy in study, which normally makes me shake with excitement.…

The sidewalk beneath my feet has begun to erode away, pieces of rock and fragmented cement escaping onto the barren street. Weeds have sprouted between the cracks, and bright-yellow dandelions poke their faces towards a dull, overcast sky. My sister is dragging her feet. The soles of Layna’s shoes roll against the grit, and the grating noise gnaws away at my unravelled nerves.…

The day is April 5th, 1892, for one day short of a fortnight I have remained ensnared within this dreary cabin, caring for my ailing son, Torsten. Much time has passed, devoid of signs of improvement. I have then come to the apprehensive conclusion that I must voyage to the towns to gather medicinal supplies. My only concern is whether Torsten can persist awaiting my arrival, only time will tell. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to venture out into the forest to embark on my thirty-mile trek to civilization.…

It is 7:23 a.m. on a Thursday morning, the pass allowing tardiness to first hour is tucked away in my tattered blue backpack. I sit in my car gazing at the quiet building. I have seven minutes to make it up the staircase, adorned with two lamp posts. I, along with many others, have visited Morgan Federal, the bank across the street, countless times and never realized just what was in the vicinity. A friend who works next door in the courthouse suggested I profile this place and gave the directions: “It’s in the old jail,” as if that was a common reference automatically understood.…

As a theory, realism is the belief that many mental processes of understanding the world or people are cognitive biases. They should not be considered ‘errors’. On the other hand, they exhibit the logical and practical reasoning methods of understanding and reconciling with the ‘practical world’. In the reasoning process of the real world that they live in, people may use memories of self about somebody or something, and at times people may commit errors or may lie in some of the contexts. And further, they believe that change is the essential aspect of nature, so people or things change in the due course of time.…

At a younger age, I would say I believed that I can only trust myself and my mother, this is because as a little kid my mom would always tell me that there are bad people in the world and that giving them any information about anything can be very harmful. But as I grew up and realized what was actually happening in my country I knew there were millions of others that were suffering against the “bad people” and we could only do something about it if the whole community came together to help. It was at that time when I was about 25, when I started to put some effort into trying to establish more just conditions within my country especially after the implication of extremely high food prices. This is when I started my first strike involving my…
