At a young age I struggled with my studies and often was placed in resource classes which was for more one on one care. But because of the embarrassment I would often push myself so that I would no longer need the help. This happened every year until I was in junior high. I had a lot of goal when I was young I wanted to go to college and be the first one to get a degree. This came with a whole lot of challenges and tears but I was determined to get a scholarship and move to Pennsylvania to become a Penn State Nittany Lion. When I reached my first year of high school I applied to be in honors classes but was not accepted so I tried again the next year and had every class a college or honors course. This remained for the rest of my high school career. I pushed myself to the point where I pretty much got my associates before even graduating high school. Even with all that work I didn’t make my goal to Penn State but I reached my goal of starting my college degree with scholarships. After spending most nights awake reading or working on homework I felt accomplished for the work I put in. No one pushed me, threatened me or even placed expectations I did that all for myself. Contrast to that experience I remember getting very upset with my step sister because she placed all my hard work on my living status to make excuses for her lack of ambition in high school which resulted her at working at McDonalds with no
