I will always cherish all of the memories and experiences, such as field trips, and 5th grade camp. Although I was very young, I still remember the life lessons I learned at Century Park that I will use for my whole life. Elementary school was a different experience for everyone. It’s when we all became immersed into a mini “society”, learning valuable life lessons that have traveled with me all through these years. When I look back and truly think about it, many

I learned that every action has a consequence. Any person that went through elementary school learned this, but everyone had to unfortunately learn this through their own experiences. Once you do something bad or make a poor decision, and you are unhappy with the consequence, most likely, you won’t do it again. Doing whatever you wanted was always cool, but some of my peers learned that the hard way and got into trouble. Your actions might’ve resulted in punishments such as sitting in at recess time, or doing extra jobs around the classroom. And no one wanted to be “that kid”.
Another couple important life lessons I learned was to follow directions and stay organized. All through elementary school, we had daily schedules to follow and once we got into 4th grade, we were required to use planners to learn organization skills along with

The things about challenges are overcoming them, and telling your friends and family about what you faced, in my case the challenge I faced changed the way I think about beautiful things, and about my life. It was a beautiful day spent at schliterbahn, but hours being in the same placed bored me. I asked my brother for permission to go to the island, since it meant just crossing the bridge and there it was.…

I was 10 years old. I looked from the edge of the mat, unaware about the endeavor I was about to take the moment my foot touched that mat. I finally decided to walk on, like they had taught me by bowing, it was the first of a near million times I was going to do this. I was a white belt, at the best taekwondo centers in the area. All the kids, stood to the side eerily silent, waiting for instructions.…

It's funny how you think of someone a certain way and then when you get to know them, they're nothing like that at all, whether they live up to your standards and everything you thought about them was right Or whether you're disappointed with the way they are. We as humans have this really nasty habit of judging people for their actions on a daily basis, not knowing the story behind why they might be doing it. We say things we don't mean, we assume things the wrong way and we act out when life doesn't go the way we expect it to even though sometimes it's for the best. Being 21, the biggest lesson I've learned is that I can't let my own problems and insecurities get in the way of other people's lives.…

I have had numerous learning experiences while my time at the Pavilion however if I had to chose a specific learning experience I would have to say this was when I realize that I had made a difference for an individual. I was told not to talk to him and just to get a signature however my social worker nature kicked in and I asked what was wrong. After talking to him I learned he has substance abuse issues and was homeless he really wanted to get help and had ask the discharge planner for help and she ignored him.…

So since I can’t go into the forest near my grandparents anymore, I decided to go to the state park in Savanna with my cousin and her baby boy, Jaxson around 3:00 p.m. The state park wasn’t closed yet, the weather now has changed into a deeper cold then in September but we are still getting hot days or cold days, but mostly cold. I know that the state park does have snakes so I had to look out for them while walking with my cousin. While walking uphill towards the first lookout I noticed a couple of Blue Jays walking along the bath and sides. I believe that they were looking for food for the winter.…

You would think that death would devastate someone for the rest of their life, but my brother’s death actually changed my life. Throughout life, we learn different lessons be it from a teacher such as your parents, guardians, spouse, etc. or just going out and living and collecting experiences. From these, we grow and become the person we are today. We learn to shape us into the person we are and motivate the things we do and believe. I believe heavily in three core things I’ve learned in my life through experience.
