The most accomplishing moment in my high school career was joining the National Honor Society. In middle school, I had many setbacks that destroyed my hopes of getting in. When I received the letter saying I qualified to apply, I jumped at the opportunity given to me. The Financial Literacy teacher handed me a letter stating, I didn’t make it pass the first rounds of cuts. Once loyalty is broken, I will never look at a person the same way. I may be young, but there is an important lesson learned that needs to be learned; everyone that smiles in one face, isn’t a friend. Treachery and fakeness has followed me, and seems like it doesn’t want to release its tight grasp. People I confided personal information, are strangers I walk past everyday without speaking a word. I don’t appreciate people posing a forsade, thinking they are indivisible. For example, one person only used my friendship as a free ride to get to where they needed to be. Once they started finding their own, the ignored me as if I was a stranger walking in Walmart. Never will I ever make a silly mistake like that again.
