Personal Narrative: Life After School Shooting At Pleasant High

Interviewer: How was school like before the incident happened at Pleasant High? How do you like school after the incident? Which did you like more?

Thomas Bishop: I loved school. I loved the way things were before the school shooting at Pleasant High. Ever since Dr. Henry Willner was hired as the grief and crisis counselor, things took a turn for the worse. Everything got stricter. I hated school after the shooting. Dr. Willner implemented new rules at the school that is just plain absurd. If I had to choose between the old and the new school, I would choose the old school without a doubt.

Interviewer: Life at school must really suck after the shooting at Pleasant High. When you said that everything got stricter, what do you mean? What do you mean by absurd rules? Can you provide some examples?

Metal detectors were added to the school so everything we enter the school, we had to be searched for weapons. This caused everyone to be late to class. Dr. Willner also demanded an assembly every morning to discuss about the recent events and new rules that everyone should be aware of. One of these new rules that is said is the banning of wearing the color red. My friend Stephanie is a victim of one of his new rule, she wore a red ribbon to school and immediately got suspended. My best friend Silas was sent to rehab for his drug
