I have not fallen asleep this past hour. I don’t know why. It’s already Wednesday 2:00 am in the morning. I am thinking of you and the whole family. I am writing this on a sheet of paper. Sorry, I had no time to get a card for this. It’s a busy week for me.
I just want to thank you for having me and my sister. My time in the USA was a lot better and enjoyable than I thought it would be because of you. The way you took extra good care of me and my sister was unbelievable. You can even have 50 kids and take a good care of them. I can’t believe that you have a great mind and a clean heart. I have seen your love towards the children, it’s amazing. The effort you put on helping people around the world. The hard work you put on helping children and families in Ethiopia is making you stronger. Give Nala a big best of luck for the (making a well in Ethiopia) funding that she is doing for people in Ethiopia. Please tell me when Nala finishes making a well in Ethiopia. I will sponsor someone like me when I grow up.

You have given a new life to Layla, Jackson and me. Only the god gives life to humanity, you are a god for me, for Jackson, Layla and many people in Ethiopia and more. One of the reasons for me to come to the US was to learn to be a good person and to learn how people are, You taught me so much. I am so lucky to have another mom who is also a wonderful woman in the world. It is so good to have a dad, new sisters, brother, grandfather, grandmother, aunts, and uncles. The way you take care of the children is amazing. You think of keeping the children safe even when you are not feeling well. I remember when you were sleeping outside Layla’s room on the floor. I don’t know how much you love people like me, someone in Ethiopia, needy people. But I do know you love them more than you love

My key life lessons are that nothing beats hard work and if you treat others with respect, they will generally treat you with respect. Hard work and effort are the main aspects that lead to “lucky” things happening. Good things don’t just fall into people’s laps, the ones that have the most “luck” generally are those that put in the most effort and work. Also, I have learned that when you truly respect those around, they will respect you back and life is much easier when you aren’t doing things behind each other’s backs.…

Every Life Matters I really only started understanding the meaning of abortion once one of my mom’s friends had one. Before that I had very little knowledge about abortion. My parents have always taught me to stand by what I believe and that others may have different beliefs. They always told me that I would meet people that would disagree with me and what I believe not only when it came to these kind of topics but many other things as well. Being told that, they told me to always respect people’s beliefs and their points of view because everyone has the right to stand by what they believe, just like I do.…

I noticed her even before exiting the van, and instantly knew I would spend the day with her. I connect well with children, but she was different.…
