Personal Narrative: Let's Go Mud

Improved Essays
One night my friend Bailey was staying the night at my house. We stayed up all night thinking of what we wanted to do tomorrow. We kept naming things we should do. But then we said “no”. My mom came in the room because she heard our conversation about what we wanted to do. Then she named a couple of things, but we just sat there looking around the room. Then I finally found the perfect idea. “Let’s go Mudding “. My mom agreed to the idea and said we could go. We finally got a little bit of sleep. Bailey and I woke up and got dressed because we had to go do a couple of things before we could go mudding. Bailey and I both wore sweat pants and hoodies. We both put are hair in buns and left. First we went to the store to get some stuff. Bailey and I walked around while my mom got some food and other things. We saw some friends and we all had some fun. Then we left to go to my mom’s work because she forgot something. Bailey turned the radio on while we waited in the car. Then my mom finally came out of her work and got in the car. We got back to my house so we could get …show more content…
All I smelled was dirt, mud, and a wet dog. Then we got mud all over us and Duke and somehow there was water in the bed of the truck. We were having a lot of fun. I saw some trees, ponds, and lots of mud, trucks, and some friends. Bailey and I stopped for a little while and ate some food and took a rest. I also had to feed Duke so I gave him some food. Duke jumped out of the bed of the truck and started playing in the mud and barking. Me and Bailey jumped out of the back and played with Duke until mom got done eating. This time she let Duke sit in the back again as long as we hold him so he wouldn’t jump out like he did last time. We all had fun. Me Bailey and Duke were covered all in mud. She let me and Bailey drove the truck threw a couple of ponds then we drove home. We got home and took our showers and went to

Our daily wiffle ball game was about to start. There was a wiffle ball game every evening behind the apartment complex I lived in. The game was played in a luscious green grass field with a monstrous hill in left field. The usual squad was myself, Ricky, Justin, Michael, Jonathon, Latrell, and occasionally Greg but his parents usually make him stay inside and play monopoly or some other dumb board game. Our teams were always different from the last game.…

The once dreaded 200-meter dash was now a fond memory of mine to hold onto. Each and every muscle in my body was crying out. At a younger age, I would say I believed that I can only trust myself and my mother, this is because as a little kid my mom would always tell me that there are bad people in the world and that giving them any information about anything can be very harmful. But as I grew up and realized what was actually happening in my country I knew there were millions of others that were suffering against the “bad people” and we could only do something about it if the whole community came together to help. It was at that time when I was about 25, when I started to put some effort into trying to establish more just conditions within my country especially after the implication of extremely high food prices. This is when I started my first strike involving my…
