The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. In my freshman year of highschool I struggled with keeping my grades up. At this time I was focused on the wrong things. During this year and sophomore year I stopped caring what grades I had. I was a failure to myself because I knew I could do better. From this experience I learned that quitting halfway through my classes is only hurting myself. From then I have matured and now know I can do better in my classes. My overall goal was always to get out of school as soon as possible. In the beginning of high school I did not know what I wanted to do after high school. I always assumed the only choice was to go to a four year college. Once it set in during mid junior year
