This week, I cared for a patient that was admitted for both, Hypotension and Cellulites. On Wednesday, I started off the doing the vitals while Andrew got supplies. We then did a bath. From there we changed his linens and brief. I learned that from my mistakes. I turned the patient too much and left the bed raised. I definitely learned from my mistakes. I achieved the changing of a gown and making an occupied bed. I didn’t give a complete bed bath because I didn't do a back massage and my patient was unable to be transferred from bed to chair. It was a worthwhile outcome because I got to achieve new things and learn from my mistakes. It couldn’t have been a better quality experience. I messed up, but i’m learning from my mistakes and knowing me that’s how I learn better. Transferring a patient from a bed to a chair would have been done if had a different patent. I will try to improve on them. There are many things I would do differently, but I would mostly try to organize things better. My disorganization cause me to also wet the linen. The objective I have planned for next week is to complete oral care, ambulating with a gait belt, clean dentures, and to do a complete bed bath. I am excited to move on and learn more, but I also know that there's things I have to work on. I learned that good communication with the patient is key. It makes the caring of a patient go smoother and
