Personal Narrative: King Charles Spaniel Dog

It was mid April of the year 2015 and my mom and I were looking for a King Charles Spaniel dog. We were planning on adopting a dog from a website called Lucky Dog Rescue. The one that we wanted was a four year old dog named Lucy from Minnesota. Her owner died causing her to go to a shelter for about three months. My mom called up the adoption agency and requested that we get Lucy. About a week later my life changed for ever when the phone rang before school on April twenty seven 2015. When I picked up the phone I said “hello” someone responded with “hello I am from lucky dogs rescue” and then she asked if this was the Ericksen family I said “yes” and asked if we got Lucy. “Yes” she said then I handed the phone to my mother.
