It was mid April of the year 2015 and my mom and I were looking for a King Charles Spaniel dog. We were planning on adopting a dog from a website called Lucky Dog Rescue. The one that we wanted was a four year old dog named Lucy from Minnesota. Her owner died causing her to go to a shelter for about three months.
