Personal Narrative: Ken Mcdonald Golf Team

When I’m helping as an assistant coach for the junior golf program at the Ken McDonald Golf Course, I’m teaching kids what I know. I’m passing on the information that I’ve learned over the years, telling them what’s right from wrong. If they make a mistake, I correct them, and if they perform a task well, I praise them. Now, although I’m not teaching people who are ten years younger than I, I also lead the way on my VEX Robotics team in my engineering class. Our team of six was tasked to create a robot from pieces to gain the most points in a competition setting. With given constraints, we had to design and build a functional robot.
