Personal Narrative: Keep Attending College

Improved Essays
No one in my entire family went to college so I am on my own. Growing up there was not always enough money to eat let alone save for college. The idea that some one from my family was going to attend college was way beyond any ones mind. I am paying for college by myself and acquiring extreme debt along the way. Any amount of money that I do not have to worry about coming up with is an enormous help. I am striving for goals that seem impossible from where I came from. Being the first to embark on such a long journey, I am inspired to show those after me that it can be done. The thought of being a positive influence on the upcoming generations is what helps me keep going. The only thing about that is I know I cannot do it alone.

I married my husband at the age of twenty and together we entered the ministry field. God blessed us with three wonderful kids and laid upon our hearts the notion of homeschooling.
