Personal Narrative-Kat Kardashian

Kat was fabulous. Kat Kardashian was the tallest of all the Kardashians at 5"11. I was definitely not as fabulous as Kat, nor as tall. Although, nobody was. It was a cool fall day and leaves were scattered about the ground. Today, Kat was going shopping, or at least that’s what the tabloids said. I desperately wanted to meet Kat so I decided to go to a mall near her house. I grabbed my gray fluffy sweatshirt and slipped on a pair of black tennis shoes. Once I arrived at the mall, I noticed it smelled like an assortment of perfumes and coffee. I walked into a Squarebucks and ordered a muffin and a coffee, After about an hour of waiting at the Squarebucks, I was losing hope, just as I was packing up my laptop, Kat strutted into the bright, …show more content…
“Let ‘em stay.” Kat said with a grin. “KANYE GET ME CLOTHES!” she shouted.
In walked Kanye West, rapper, or better known as Kat’s stylist. Kanye scrambled to find clothes running every which way. They all pulled out our phones and took pictures of and even with Kat, I was so

Kanye handed Kat clothes of every sort, but Kat chose an assortment of leggings and oversized sweaters. Then Kat began the trek back through the perfume smelling mall. The one thing that made her stop was when I yelled,
“I WANT TO BE YOU” Kat stopped. She spun around and walked toward me. I didn’t know this until later but at this time, Kat had been in a bad mood. She was surrounded by things she didn’t think she deserved, but it was that comment that made her realize how lucky she really is. Kat, a naturally mean person was feeling generous now, so she took off her jacket and handed it to me.
“A gift for you.” said Kat giving me a hug.
“Really? You’re kidding?” I asked her.
“No keep it! It’s a great jacket!” Kat began throwing the clothes she had just bought to her fans. When she was out of clothes she began speaking to them and taking pictures. Somehow, I had changed mean spoiled rotten Kat, she was nice again. When the festivities died down and Kat went home, she began planning meetups with fans and began to give back more. Maybe it was just a random act of kindness, but I like to think that I caused Kat to become a better person, and nobody can prove me

Its owner was the Royal Duchess of Spine, Kaitlin Caitlin Adderlink; it was chartered out of the Broxun system; and it could easily carry 50 people, in luxury. Galileo Galilei once said, “Passion is the genesis of genius”. Passionate people can be found from across the globe; however, the passion of one young man who comes from the Southside of Chicago is unmatchable and unique from anyone else. Kanye’s mother, Donda West, was an English Professor and the first African American Chair of the English Department at Chicago State University. Despite his sudden awe at her presence, Sophie's reluctant demeanor wasn't lost on Kevin. It was discouraging, but he gave a deep breath (one he realized, too late, was probably audible) and waited as she came closer, trying not to stare too blatantly at her shapely legs as they made her skirt swish like a curtain hiding restless performers backstage. He unbuttoned the top button of his plaid flannel shirt and another breath escaped. As she explained her timid goal for the sessions, it did nothing for Kevin's discouragement, and there was even a bit of resentment in there, too. She was clearly just trying to coast by, and had no intention of paying him the attention he was giving her.…

Alternative Rappers? Another way that Outkast challenged notions of authenticity was through their defiance towards conceptions of performative blackness within Hip Hop. Here, I will use E. Patrick Johnson’s framework, as well as how authenticity is constructed based on sound, look and feel in tandem, to illustrate how OutKast resisted this limited view of Hip Hop legitimacy (Grazian). Perceptions of performative blackness connected to sound, look and feel stem from urban inner-city ghetto life that included a specific image of blackness, dialect as reflected in rap lyrics, and clothing styles that contribute to the feel of Hip Hop as a cultural system (Grazian).…

Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines homophobia as the irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals. While society has made great strides towards becoming more accepting of the LGBTQ community, there is still a portion of the population that has not changed. And in hip hop culture today, it can be seen by many that homophobia is still prevalent. Joel Penney is quite aware of this as his article entitled, “We Don’t Wear Tight Clothes”: Gay Panic and Queer Style in Contemporary Hip Hop, is centered on the aforementioned idea.…

Once upon a time, there was a small, seaside town, along the coast of the vast Pacific Ocean, called Arcadia, and in that small seaside town, there lived a girl named Parker Garcia, who, with the help of some friends and maybe just a little magic, started a revolution that brought love and acceptance to the small town. The small town of Arcadia over looked the pacific ocean from a glorious cliff side that was carved with one of the only freeways in the town. Almost every morning the citizens of Arcadia were awoken at an early hour by the sound of a motor bike ripping along the freeway. Now most people didn’t mind the noise so much as they minded the rider. Parker Garcia was the town’s resident rebel and disliked by a fair few in Arcadia, especially…
