Personal Narrative: Kanas City Royals Run

Personal Narrative
I’m going to be writing about the Kanas City Royals postseason run. Some of the places my story will take place in Kansas City, Los Angeles, & San Francisco.
So the reason I’m writing this is because I love the Royals. This meant so much to me because it was the first time in 29 years since the Royals have been in a playoff game. So I turned on the television and started watching. They where playing the Oakland Athletics, winner goes and plays the top seed Los Angeles
Angles. Like I said earlier it was the Royals first playoff game in 29 years. But early in the game I was upset because the Royals were losing 7 to 3 early. But before I knew it the royals were tying the game with setting a record of 7 stolen base. Eric
Hosmer

Right now I’m screaming I can’t believe what I’m watching . Final score Royals 9 Oakland 8. This pushes the Royals through to the
American League Division Series, to play the Angles.
ALDS vs Angles. I’m so nervous watching the next 3 games. But the Royals late inning heroics continued against the Angles. Mike Moustakes won game 1

with the first extra-inning homerun in club history, an 11th inning homerun gave the Royals a win with the final score being 3 to 2 in game 1. So I start to feel a little better now, but still not safe. So going into game 2 still playing in Los
Angeles, Eric Hosmer followed with an 11th inning homerun himself giving them a win with a score of 4 to 1. Also by giving the Royals a 2-0 lead in the series going back to Kansas City. So I’m feeling a lot better with the series led and how we are playing and hitting. So game 3 we started out early. Winning the game 8 to 3 thanks to Alex Gordan with a 3-run double & Eric Hosmer’s 3-run homer also with
Mike Moustakes 2-run homer. With this win I was literally screaming we were going to play the Baltimore Orioles in the American League Championship Series.
ALCS vs Orioles. The Royals began a second straight series winning
