Personal Narrative: Kade's House

Decent Essays
Kade and I were playing at kade’s house just playing on his tire swing.
We thought it would be fun if we took off the tire and just played on the chain.
So we swung and jumped off and on my second time I jumped off I caught myself and I screamed so loud my dad could hear me at my house.

Kristan called my mom and she took me to the hospital and they gave me a painkiller shot.
Then they called the fire department for some bolt cutters.
As they waited on the bolt cutters the gave me a shot to sleeping and the last thing I saw was the bolt cutters.

When I woke up I puke then I was dizzy it felt like I was going to puke again.
I couldn't leave until I went to the bathroom which didn't happen until 6:30 p.m. at night.
Then I went home ate

I had just entered my junior year in high school and was back to playing football, my grades were good so far and my A.D.D. medication was helping me a lot. Zach and I had just arrived at the union school for a junior varsity game against Oceanside high school, we geared up and got ready for the game. I started the game at quarterback and the game wasn't going well for us, which didn't come as a surprise because jv games are never enjoyable. I took the snap and rolled out to the left side of the field, no one was open so I tucked the ball under my arm and started to run up field, I had room to move, suddenly a linebacker running at me from my side started to shorten up his steps and set himself for a tackle, he tackled low but I…

The crisp breeze rustled my hair as I walked out of my house on the fall September day with my dad drilling instructions into my head. It was my first Little League baseball game ever, and my dad wanted to make sure it wasn’t my last. Being seven years old and never touching a baseball was something that had scared me; a lot. I had no idea what to think about this foreign, petrifying, game could possibly be about. The car ride from my house was only a few minutes away from the fields where I would begin my baseball career.…

So, having read this title you can probably guess this story is going to have something to do with a broken bone. If you didn’t guess that then, you should probably become a better guesser. Anyways, there was a night 2 years ago when I was sitting in the basement with my bestfriend, Breilynd, and there was absolutely nothing to do. I’m not exaggerating that either. We could not think of a single thing that would keep us occupied for more than 5 minutes.…

The story I have chosen to adapt is An Evening at the Club. The character whose perspective I will use is Gazia. A brief character description of my character would be a young servant girl with little power over her life, scared for her fate, and very similar to Samia, only not as pretty. The moment I want to crack open is when Gazia is questioned by Abboud Bey, as well as her trip to jail. Based on the situation I have chosen, the character’s greatest fear is her reputation being ruined, and her family not accepting her.…
