“Just a Game” “You ready for this” my dad said as we were sitting on the couch talking about the tournament that we are going to. I said “yes I am ready for this”. My dad said “You do know that your team gets ranked for the tournament and your team is the number one team in the tournament”. When he told me that I could not believe it. That means that we're are going to have a lot of people there watching you guys play. There will be people there recording the game and making mix tapes of you if you do good. When my dad said that there will be people video taping our game I got nervous.

He also said “Let’s walk in as a team and get stretched out and get ready to play.” We walk in as a team and there were a lot of people standing by the door and we went in and everyone looked at us and some people followed us to the court we played on and the sat in the stands and waited for us to play. Our first game we played a team that was not the best team in the tournament. (There were 30 teams in the tournament.) We were out warming up and the stands were getting full. We had some fans that were like our parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles, but the rest were people just watching the game and some were for the other team. I thought this was cool how we had full stands just for a game. As the game before us got over I started to realize that all these eyes are going to see me play. We went out to warm up and the players and fans that were there for the game before us stuck around so there were people standing and the stands were now full and more.
