Personal Narrative: Juan Carlos

Since I was little, I always dreamed of being like my cousin Juan Carlos. He was smart, a scholar, a doctor, and did not did anyone to teach him. I would always observe him as he would mess around with different chemicals at his house. He would come up with conclusions on what the chemicals were, what hey did, and other types of information that he did not know. I was amazed by his ability to grasp his surroundings, and learn from them. I wanted to be as intellectual as him so I tried tinkering with objects to see how they functioned. I would dissect unused phones, tv remotes, and pens and reassemble them all over again by myself. I wanted to understand each function, however, as i reassembled the pieces together, I did not really learn much
