“Yay,” I yelled as we , pulled up to my favorite cousin’s house.
We were at the Alapaha river in Stockton,Ga.It was the fourth of July year of 2012.My cousin,my sisters, and I were going to ride some jet skis. “The jet skis look beautiful,”my cousin said. “yea I’m fine,” I whispered. We all had one big question, how do we flip the jet ski back over.We just couldn’t find a way. Finally we figured out what we were going to do.We were going to get a rope and just pull it over.We tugged and tugged but nothing and then it hit me. “We should wrap the rope around it and build up speed and it should come over. So we wrapped the huge fifty foot rope around it and I let it rip.As I pulled the huge jet ski, the jet ski twisted and twisted like a tornado and when it got to the last part of the fifty foot rope I managed to put the last part of the throttle all the way, and when it tighene’d up the jet ski was trying but just couuldn’t get it. “Do you want me to push on it,” my sister said. “yea but be careful of that rope,” I screamed. The jet ski was about to have enough and when they pushed on it it came over and a big sigh of relief was lifted off my shoulders. “We are not doing flips ever again as long as I live,” I screamed. After we got the jet ski running again we rode off in the sunset all twenty three miles back to my uncle’s land. When we got back to the campsite we were interrupted by a noisy and beautiful ray of fireworks interring the sky. When the beautiful ray of fireworks ended, we left and come back the next day and

Over summer I went with some friends to the Johnson Shut-ins in Missouri. It was the first time I went camping in years and it was one of the coolest trips I’ve ever been on. It started with the drive which was about two and a half hours through isolated roads which eventually got kind of creepy because we were in the middle of nowhere, every house had confederate flags posted, and we were running out of gas. We finally found the place and found our campground and we wanted to find out what the shut-ins were exactly. It was on the other side of the campground…

On the other hand, the rest of my family had grown restless, wanting to brave the increasingly high waves. After treading water for a bit, my father decided it would be a great idea to swim to the buoy—really just a piece of wood—that was thirty feet away in the waves.
