Personal Narrative: Jenga

Life is like an overly complicated game of Jenga where the end goal is to keep everything standing and balanced. However, sometimes this balance will tumble down from one slip of the hand. This is the story of how I lost the big life game of Jenga.
We could start from the very beginning, but I'll take a jump to where the turbulence began. It was the early winter of 2005, the sun basking outside, the breeze of Florida's humid air blew. I spent it inside, alone, with the only company being my bed and droopy-eyed mother.
Particular memories resurface from time to time, but this day stays with me more than most. That day was beautiful and for the first time in many weeks, I would see the sun for a brief moment. In the transition from my bed to
