My family was constantly on the move, never calling any place "home" for very long. Before graduating from grammar school, we had lived in six different cities across California. In 1903, I released The Call of the Wild, which went on to become my best selling book, selling millions of copies. This story really exemplified the true meaning of adventure. Later that year, I met my future wife, Charmian Kittredge London, whom I married in 1905. (Biography.com
