Personal Narrative-It's Wrong?

It was 7:05 as Michael got in his white Mercedes and pulled out of the driveway. He turned out of our neighborhood onto the main road and he was gone on his way to work. It was 7:15 and there was a loud bang from Sydney’s room as she ran into the kitchen.
“Mom! I’m gonna be late to school! Charley didn’t pick me up this morning, I need a ride or I’m not gonna go!” Sydney screamed angrily from the opposite side of the house. Johnelle got out of her bed sleepily and rushed to the kitchen while putting on her go-to black linen robe. It was 7:20, the time I wake up every morning to do my makeup and get ready for school. I got up, went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and came back to my room to sit down at my vanity. I began my everyday routine.

“Mom! What’s wrong? What happened? Tell me, tell me, tell me!” I say as my heart beats faster and faster. “We’ve been robbed! We’ve been robbed! I thought something happened to you! Are you okay? Oh my god!” Johnelle and I both run into her room where I see the evidence. The dresser were all empty and thrown to the ground, her vanity drawers were empty and pills were everywhere. I went into the conjoining bathroom where I see her closet also empty and a mess. The police showed up 5 minutes later and right after came Michael. I was supposed to be on my way to school by now but I have a feeling I won’t be going at all.
The police did the report, got fingerprints, and interviewed me and my mom. “The car license plate that you took the picture of was a stolen car, we were getting calls at the same time as when you called for the robbery. I’m sorry we will do the best we can”, the policeman said. The other policeman was outside still taking fingerprints where he saw something that caught his eye. The stationary door was moved. The door that isn’t supposed to move, is slid over. We watched the policeman as he picked up bolts from the floor and then he found that the stationary door was completely installed wrong. The door was flipped inside out. It should have been that the bolts were on the inside and the sliding glass door should have been on the other side of the door. That is when

You could no longer hear her from the hallway with her 16 gold bangles from Neiman Marcus, now there was only 2 left. She went along everyday with the empty feeling on her fingers, there were no rings there. She now came in my room every morning to use my iPad because hers was gone. She borrowed my clothes when all of hers were taken. She got migraines everyday because her only glasses she liked were taken from her and she can’t go outside without them unless she wants a headache. Michael got sick until he could get his medication. He slept with fear and he woke up any time he heard a noise or my mom was breathing uneasily. Every night we lock our doors three times just to make sure no one could get in. My sister and I lock our room in the night. Sydney keeps a knife in her dresser and bathroom. When we see a man outside we run and close all the windows and watch him until he is gone. We don’t open the door, we don’t invite people into our home, and if we hear a noise that is a little bit frightening, we grab the bats we keep beside our beds as we sleep. The truth is, if someone wants into your home, they’re gonna get in, no matter how much you prevent it. If they want in, they will get

In the middle of my sophomore year, I was asked by a senior if I would like to be the president of a dance club they had started that year. I was indecisive primarily because the club only had 3 members and so I did not know how I could make it into something starting off alone and young, but something told me to just go for it. And that I did.…

It was a gray day. The sun did not shine; it could not sever the layers of powdery black skies and the fog. The thick mist that was not really rain and not really fog covered the southeastern corner of New Jersey. It was depressing, just like most days in the area surrounding the Overbrook Asylum. On the outside, Overbrook was a welcoming place where patients were treated with care and respect; the inside was very different.…

When you hear something that is not quite right what are you supposed to do? For me this answer is very simple, say the right answer. If i am sure that i am correct on a matter i will put my foot down, i will argue my case until the opposing side submits and agrees with what i am thinking Although if i am not sure that i am one hundred percent correct i will not initiate the argument. With all of this i might not seem to headstrong but if someone believes i did something i did not do, well there is where the problem lies. I become one of the most stubborn people you could imagine.…
