As I mentioned in the previous assignment, I want to increase my baseline 500 steps each week so that by the end of the semester I am recording 10,000 steps which is in the active range. I will continue walking around the property at work and stepping in place whenever I possibly can. I will stick to walking to the mailbox which is two blocks from home as opposed to driving up to it on my way home. If I have days where I am tired I will just give myself another pep talk. I have a pretty good support system thus far so I will lean on them if pushing myself on my own does not cut it.…

In the argument about dog parks for residents with pet dogs, I totally agree that they should be provided with a park for their animals. I agree because, i dont think a simple walk around the neighborhood is not to much exercise on a daily. Exercise is important to dogs' mental and physical health. Also another reason would be because according to (ASPCA) "dogs that dont get exercise can act out at home by barking or destroying things at home. Socializing is important too.…

This particular health goal was chosen for the reason that I felt my cardiovascular endurance could use improvement in comparison to my sprinting speed. It was a weak point that I want to address because when sprinting, I could not maintain my speed for long periods of time or distances. In addition, I plan to join the track team in the spring and hope to prepare myself for it. When taking my health risk assessment, I found that overall my personal wellness score was a 99. This was a good score and based on the assessment, I am on track to a healthy lifestyle. Things that I need to keep doing is maintain my weight, not use tobacco products, wear a seatbelt, keep my LDL within the healthy range, and keep eating a diet high in fiber. Some things I need to change are exercising three to five times a week and reduce the amount of fat in your diet (see Appendix A). This was not surprising to find because when I went to the doctor and got my yearly physical, the doctor told me the same thing when he received my blood test results.…
