The clock that provides all of the suspense by giving a very ominous sound. The rallying offense drives down the field to score while the clock ticks away. I long to play football again. I wondered how it would feel to be in the sweaty home locker room with the worn benches, half-open lockers, and molding showers saturated with cold moisture still smelly from the last athlete that was dirty in places I didn’t need to see. How would it feel to be getting a pep talk with your coach before a game? I long to play football again. Consequently I became sad, remembering when I was young with my mom. When she was not petrifying in a coffin, when she was still alive. Everyday I cried over her death. The doctors tried every last alternative therapy left in the daft hospital. It wasn’t enough to save her. Enough. I couldn’t do anything to help. After her death, almost all the superior goodness in my heart left. The only thing left that …show more content…

Oh no, he wrote an epistle and sent it to his college friends! Then after that,as if I didn’t understand what he was putting across, he told me I wouldn’t be playing football. My mom had been my only freedom and my only fun. She was the one that gave me happiness in what was now an utterly ruined

My sunburn lines between my shorts and socks symbolized the restless, tiring hours spent out on the field. Every Tuesday and Thursday, for two and a half hours, the sun scorched my body while my legs would scrape into the ground. The cluster consisted of the seniors’ looming bodies that would go shoulder to shoulder against my own freshman self as our feet would battle for control. While this exhaustion enthralled and encouraged my game, the sprints, planks, runs, and more caused me to dread going to that grassy field every week. The humidity produced heavy, useless pants from my lungs as my throat would feel as if it was closing in from a claustrophobic nightmare.…

I also got many other good players such as: Drew Brees, Panthers Defense, Derek Carr, and Amari Cooper.…
