Personal Narrative-It's Time To Offer The Community

Decent Essays
I am doing good - just trying to keep a balance of things going and trying to make sure that we are doing the best we can for people out here, and remembering that we wont be able to get it all done. I am excited to for the new possibilities of the people coming on board and what they have to offer the community. The biggest stress seems to be making sure the crisis line has the on-call person listed correctly which in the grand picture of things isn't that bad. I do have a group of kids that have not been seen in awhile so I am trying to make sure that they get seen by myself or someone until the training can get done for the skills aspect. I was super happy to see on some of the reports that numbers were going down for us in cost of medications

Every Life Matters I really only started understanding the meaning of abortion once one of my mom’s friends had one. Before that I had very little knowledge about abortion. My parents have always taught me to stand by what I believe and that others may have different beliefs. They always told me that I would meet people that would disagree with me and what I believe not only when it came to these kind of topics but many other things as well. Being told that, they told me to always respect people’s beliefs and their points of view because everyone has the right to stand by what they believe, just like I do.…

In the week I was serving, my group and I were stationed at a park and delegated the task of cleaning and beautifying the area for the community to use and enjoy. My school has also presented me with many leadership opportunities.…
