Personal Narrative-It's Not The Jedi Way

I swung my white lightsaber again and again, harder and harder, faster and faster. The battle simulator droids responded by pushing my limits further with more aggressive movements. I screamed in frustration and sliced off their heads, frying their circuits beyond repair. I frowned as I looked what I had accomplished. Three droids destroyed in one stroke. This was a failure move. I bet the padawans could do better than this! I must do better. I knew I could. Shame on me for being so weak! If only Obi-Wan would let me use two lightsabers instead of one, I could be better and faster, more havoc reeked from my calculated strikes, but no! It's not the Jedi way...

My room was small, but home. It consisted of a warm twin bed, a desk, wardrobe, bookshelf, and a window. The walls were unpainted and unpersonallaized, Master Obi-Wan said it helped "channel my Jedi spirit". I found that a load of space junk. I sat down in a chair near my window, watching the sun start to set on the beautiful and lush planet of Naboo. I sighed, wishing to see more of the galaxy, but I must remain in the Jedi temple. The Jedi temple I am in is fairly recent, and secret, not even the Jedi Council knows that we exist. After the feared Darth Vader started hunting down and executing Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi had taken padawans under his care and moved them to a secret location here on Naboo. Obi-Wan is my master, I'm his padawan of some sorts. I'm one of the oldest amongst the people here, 20 years of age. I am actually a Jedi Knight, though. Before the Jedi fell, I succeeded in finishing the trials to become a Jedi Knight. Since I have no one else to train with, I still train with Obi-Wan. Although I no longer need to call him Master, I still do, for reasons of respect and because he chose to continue teaching

Pacing back and forth, I pondered how our volleyball fundraiser was going to stay afloat. The council was distraught, unable to acquire more teams, with the tournament in two days. With our advisors and the vice principal leaning towards canceling the event, my council had two choices: get eight more teams to sign up or call off the event. I didn’t want to cancel because I knew that as Junior and Senior year approached, we needed more money to fund our proms and class trips.…

There are many genetic traits out there in the world, but if I could only have one that I could pass down to future generations, it would be The Force from Star Wars. I would want to have The Force because I would be able to read and control everyone's mind, and I would be able to move objects, no matter how big or small. I could, dare I say it, rule the world. I would be able to save people with the Force and help prevent future attacks from occuring. I could also help the government by getting involved with the CIA, and by using my special abilities, I could search for terrorists and fugitives that have escaped.…

My core belief: the challenges of my education, from grade school through college. The best memory that helped me push and challenge myself to be better happened when I was in the fifth grade. The Teacher gave the class a spelling test, I receive a grade of 89%. When the Teacher gave the test back she noticed the classmate next to me had the same grade. Without asking or comparing our test papers for similarities, she placed me at a desk in front of the class by myself, because she thought I cheated off his paper.…

Stretch out with your feelings". Soon enough Luke follows Obiwans commands and successfully finishes his task by hitting the robot with his life saver. Here Obiwan challenges Plato's idea of the intellect as he tells Luke to close his eye and act on instincts. Another example that challenges Plato idea is after Obiwan dies and his soul guides Luke throughout the fight against the Death Star. Obiwan helps Luke by telling him, "use the force", "let go, Luke" "Trust me Luke".…
