All that power in the car felt as though it was grabbing me and pushing me into the car seat. The feeling of control through a pedal and steering wheel makes me feel like a king with the fastest steed in the army. As I place my foot on the pedal, the view of the revs per minute meter rises in an urgent fashion. The speedometer rises in synch with the rpm meter. Opening the hood is the complex side to the aesthetics of a car. It’s as complex as rocket science. A mix of tubes, metals, and wires, all connecting and performing different actions. The main component is the engine, a giant combustion machine that converts gasoline into movement. Thinking about all these little actions being performed and pondering about how all these little actions are very important to create one big action stimulates my mind. Putting the key in the ignition and turning it on is a satisfying feeling. The car making a noise, specific to only its type.
