“It's a good life Hazel Grace” said Augustus, a teenage boy with osteosarcoma; a form of cancer in the bones. He had cancer but still made his life great by spending it with the person he loved most. He, out of billions of people, found something to make life great. Even though he's just a boy from a book, he has a story just like each and every one of us. Just a year ago, I had the chance to move from Chicago, Illinois to Niceville, Florida and at the time I was very upset and didn't understand why this was happening. Being the typical teen I was, I thought my life was basically over. My life is good because of the people that are in it and the area I am surrounded in. Every person is different and that's what makes life so cool. There are people who don't have homes or food or water but still find happiness in life and that makes this world worth living in. Simple things like holding the door open for someone and getting a thank you or my mom bringing me home my favorite candy without me asking make my life a good life. I'm able to have a roof over my head and loving parents who would do anything for our family and for that I am blessed. The I love you’s and deep conversations about life at 3 am are so simple, yet so effective in my life. Going to pet stores and playing with all the puppies or the late summer nights no worries what-so-ever. These little things make your life a good life. My experience at University of Florida will help me continue to live my good life by giving me great opportunities to become a teacher. It will help me get a good grip on the real world and everything it has in store for me. It's not going to be easy, but with the help of everyone at University of Florida I can help make my dreams a
