Over the two semesters interning at Pathways, my communication skills enhanced. As far as oral, written, engagement, interviewing, and case noting, I have practiced them all at my field placement. Before I became an intern at Pathways, I was unaware of my poor writing skills, I was also not comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people, however, my field instructors assisted me right away. My field instructors would assign me writing assignments, and each time they would review them, they would find grammatical errors that needed to be fixed. The writing assignments continued until they determined I had developed in that area. Knowing that I was not confident in myself, my tasks were to greet visitors that came into the building,
