Personal Narrative: Indianapolis Zoo

My 1st car On October 18th, my family and I went to the Indianapolis zoo for too behind the scenes tours. We bought two different ones earlier that year and it sure was the highlight of fall break. I was really quite that morning. I usually am quite when I am mad at anyone really. I just shut down so I don’t say anything I will regret. “Katlynn, Hurry up” said my dad
“I am downstairs! Bernie is the one who is still asleep” I replied “BERNIEEEEE!!!!” My dad yelled, Bernie finally got up. I was downstairs waiting on my grandma. I like her a lot more than them. The snakes were really creepy, and a venomous snake was trying to get out. I stayed as close to the door as I could. I really hated being in that room. We were in their for a good 20 minutes as they told us fun facts about the snakes and then we finally left the room.
“So, did you guys like the tour?” asked our guide
“Yes we truly enjoyed it” replied my grandma
“I’m glad you did” He replied
After we got to look at the turtles for a couple more minutes, he showed us out. We walked towards the secret exit. We got to use the secret exit because of our behind the scenes tours. As we walked through the gate we saw our first tour guide.
“So how was everything!?” said Angie
“It was wonderful! Thank you guys for putting this together for us!” said my grandma
“No problem! Thank you for supporting our animals and the animals in Africa” replied Angie
“ Africa?” I asked
“Yes, the money you paid for your tours today helps animals. The money is used to put protective measures towards wildlife, and to help hopefully killing of the endangered species. At least the ones who are getting killed by poachers.” she

My Dad and Grandma made some small talk while my brother and I followed behind completely silent. I was ready to head back to my Dad’s house and take a nap but the adults had other plans. My dad said something about Michigan Street, but I was half asleep and wasn’t paying much attention. We got into the car and headed that way. We were all completely silent as my father drove. We ended up over by Lilly and my dad pulled up infront of a car Lot. As we got there I noticed a cute little red car.
