"MOM WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I AM MEANT TO SKATE, THIS IS WHAT I LOVE TO DO! I'M NOT GOING TO STOP FOR A SHOULDER PROBLEM!"
"Well there you go, you don't have to give up unless you want to. You just have to get through this and I know you will because you're a strong tough woman. I love you."
"Love you too mom."
Time went by and my shoulder healed, I strengthened it so it wouldn't tear again. I was feeling good and ready to get back to training and during this process I learned something really important. I had to think about my career as a skater. I couldn't let some pain get in my way of my dreams. I had to push through the pain and continue everything I could do. I wasn't going to give up skating, I love it. So remember that you can get through it, and keep your head up
