Personal Narrative: Improving Active Listening Skills

One key learning experience I have had in this goal of improving my active listening skills which has aided in developing my professional skills in the workplace, would have been when we had our first team meeting, where I was introduced and where we discussed what needed to be completed for the week ahead. Being new to the team meetings, I was ignorant around what things need my upmost attention in terms of listening and concentrating on the finer details. I found that ideas and tasks were thrown around rather fast and it was hard to keep up. That week I found particularly hard as I was not confident in asking lots of questions and could not remember all the details and tasks planned for the week. This made others frustrated when I did eventually
