Personal Narrative: Improper Light Violation

I initiated a traffic stop on the listed vehicle for an improper light violation. On my initial approach I made contact with driver and only occupant, Christopher Myhand. While in contact with Myhand, I observed a small plastic bag, containing a white, compressed powdery substance, in the center compartment below the radio. I asked Myhand what was in that bag. After that, he pulled another bag from the compartment that contained assorted candy and stated, "Its just candy." At that point I walked to the driver side of the vehicle and asked him about the bag again. Myhand picked the bag up, and said "Its trash." Myhand then attempted to toss the bag towards the back of the vehicle.
