It was a typical sunny day in Southern California just like every other day. I woke up and quickly threw on some jeans and a plain white tee as I had plans to meet up with my best friend Jennifer. We have been besties since kindergarten so for about sixteen years now. Jennifer was the sister I never had. Growing up on the same street, we were always together. Whether it was going to school together or just hanging out at each other’s houses playing dress up, we were never separated. I knew I could completely trust Jennifer and confide in her no matter what. She had my back and I had hers. That’s how close we were to each other. Jennifer was the sweetest and most kindhearted individual I have ever met and I’m not just saying that because she was my best friend but because she was truly an angel. What a coincidence. Jennifer had been dating a guy named Jake from back home for about two years now. The two met in high school and have been high school sweethearts ever since. Unfortunately, Jake ended up attending a college in a different state. This meant Jennifer and Jake were going to have to commit to a long-distance type of relationship. They both felt confidant enough that they were going to make this relationship work despite the long distance. So, here we are (Jennifer and I) having the time of our life in college until one day Jennifer starts acting different. She asks if we can go somewhere to talk in
