I walked into my high school for the first time a shy, naive, non-resourceful kid who didn’t think that he would need to study for the classes he had take and that high school would be a breeze like middle school was. It’s easy to say that I was clearly not ready for the challenging classes that faced me. I ended my first trimester devastated, but determined to improve my performance come next trimester. As an intrinsically motivated student, I decided that if I was going to get the grades I desired, I would need to do something I had never done before, and that was to study regularly and consistently. The next trimester, I put my old habits to rest as I stopped procrastinating, and started to use the resources that I hadn’t even tried to use
