The lady started to eyeball my satchel so I handed her the cash, took my ticket and hurried into the “I walk the Line” concert before she could search through it. I must’ve waited at least a full hour to get in and I was even late to the concert. I made it to the seat and the concert still had not started. Schedule must be running behind, I contemplated to myself. I turned my wrist over so I could see the new round faced, silver, Elgin watch I had just bought myself but I was right on time.
I look around while taking in the surroundings and I see a woman yelling at her husband a couple seats away. She seems furious when suddenly her husband, that had acted …show more content…
I wandered back to the seat being pushed and elbowed by the restless crowd.
Cash came out on stage, Martin guitar in hand, strumming the first chords to his song, Cocaine Blues. His raspy, unique voice echoed in the back of the filled stadium. I personally am very fond of Cash and his music. Listening to Cash’s music is reassuring after an irksome day of my job.

June was in the dressing room changing out of her sophisticated dress and heels. I started to tell Cash what happened when I got up to get my drink, then I changed my mind and lied. I cautiously stuttered, “Sir, I was following all the directions, but I was mugged on the way in. I chased the guy down..”
June interrupted when she cheerfully bursts out of the dressing room and questioned if I would like her autograph. Cash whispered in my ear to leave before June could comprehend what was happening. I started to object, but hurried away seconds later. I could not have messed up this night any worse. I hung my head and walked out of the stadium with only the murmurs of astray people that had not left. Failure was my middle name and there was no way I could
