Personal Narrative: I Walk The Line Concert

“That’ll be a dollar and fifteen cents,” uttered the grouchy lady in the box office.
The lady started to eyeball my satchel so I handed her the cash, took my ticket and hurried into the “I walk the Line” concert before she could search through it. I must’ve waited at least a full hour to get in and I was even late to the concert. I made it to the seat and the concert still had not started. Schedule must be running behind, I contemplated to myself. I turned my wrist over so I could see the new round faced, silver, Elgin watch I had just bought myself but I was right on time.
I look around while taking in the surroundings and I see a woman yelling at her husband a couple seats away. She seems furious when suddenly her husband, that had acted

I wandered back to the seat being pushed and elbowed by the restless crowd.
Cash came out on stage, Martin guitar in hand, strumming the first chords to his song, Cocaine Blues. His raspy, unique voice echoed in the back of the filled stadium. I personally am very fond of Cash and his music. Listening to Cash’s music is reassuring after an irksome day of my job.

Cash was about to start his last song when he pulls a delicate woman out of the crowd and onto the stage. He gladly recites, “Everyone this is my beautiful June Carter and this next song will be performed by the both of us. Hope you guys like it.”
He scoots the microphone in between June and himself and starts strumming. June has a glistening sparkle in her eye whenever the first lyrics of the song project out of her

Lots of forgotten things like hats and coats had been left in the seats but I did not have time to inspect the pockets for any valuables. Once I made it out of the violent, ignorant crowd, I ran down the aisle and up the stairs to backstage. Security guards stopped me at the top, but Cash must’ve noticed me and let me through. June was in the dressing room changing out of her sophisticated dress and heels. I started to tell Cash what happened when I got up to get my drink, then I changed my mind and lied. I cautiously stuttered, “Sir, I was following all the directions, but I was mugged on the way in. I chased the guy down..”
June interrupted when she cheerfully bursts out of the dressing room and questioned if I would like her autograph. Cash whispered in my ear to leave before June could comprehend what was happening. I started to object, but hurried away seconds later. I could not have messed up this night any worse. I hung my head and walked out of the stadium with only the murmurs of astray people that had not left. Failure was my middle name and there was no way I could

It was warm, humid and cloudy on the day of our Jack Johnson concert. Despite the warmth, it was a perfect day to be outside and sitting on the lawn at the DTE Music Center to enjoy some relaxing tunes. Jack Johnson is classified as a folk and acoustic rock musician, however I compare him between a calmer version of John Mayer and Jason Mraz combined. He plays an acoustic electric guitar, but his guitar playing skills are nowhere near as good as his writing skills. He plays basic guitar chords, but his lyrics make the music.…

The third, and final way that Cole’s album is a permanent form of spiritual expression is through his inclusion of racial and political topics. As of now, Cole’s sentiments during the production of his album and his appeals to the senses have demonstrated permanence. But, there must be an impetus behind his emotions and his need to evoke specific emotions from his audience. This impetus reveals itself to be the political and racial aspects of society that trouble Cole, and ultimately move him to create the album. Cole portrays the political and racial influences on his music through his skits and interludes, which often bleeds into the next track, both sonically and topic wise.…

Thus, music is a significant matter in personal identity and analysis of one’s life can reveal one’s musical identity.
