I was not at all motivated in acquiring it, because I didn’t have my own vehicle to drive. My parents eventually expressed their plan to buy me a truck, but we would have to wait until the right circumstance. As many months went by, I restlessly waited for news of my vehicle. I began to wonder if the truck that was meant for me actually existed. In the …show more content…
They wanted to give the truck to me as a late Christmas present. When I found out I was to get a truck of my own, I was surprised and delighted at the same time. When the day finally came to pick up my new truck, I could hardly contain my excitement. My parents and I made the seemingly long trip up to Lagrange, Georgia where my vehicle was patiently waiting. After getting back to the dealership, my parents and I made the life-changing decision to purchase the truck. I gleefully drove my brand new truck home, and began to visualize how having my own vehicle would change my life. I looked forward to spending many years with my truck by my
