Through personal experience, I have realized anything can grow with time. The longer something is there, the more meaning it can behold behind its simple form. On my foot is where I placed you, a permanent mark laced with the embedded ink of meanings. This mark is a personal reminder and when I glance down I see all the change that has occurred. Causing me to wonder what new meanings are to grow and what future discoveries are to be made?

The artist who did my tattoo was an amazing guy and he told me a piece of his story while working on me. He told me about how he became a tattoo artist and how he was an ex-con. He’d been released from prison and was trying to establish his life which, made me respect him more as a person because of how he didn’t let it define him. He did a clean job on my tattoo and it’s an honor to have his work on my body.
Since getting my tattoo, more meanings have been incorporated. I have learned a great deal about the verse and, it’s one of God’s promises for a better life when this one comes to an end. I have learned to accept myself and everything that makes me who I am as a person. To accept what happens in life and to make the best out of what you can.
