Improved Essays
For every can’t I turned into a can. For every person who told me I would never finish this, I did. For every “You’ll never make it far in life, all you will be good at is laying on your back and having kids at 16” I proved you wrong. For every all nighter and quickly approaching due dates, I made it. For all the times I wanted to quit I didn’t. For all those who didn’t believe in me, I believed in myself. This I Believe Essay Draft I was 9 years old and my little league team was in the city championship for the second year in a row. We came into the game feeling strong about our team, thinking that nobody could beat us. The first few innings were pretty stress free, a few mistakes here and there but nothing major had happened yet. I believe it was the 3 inning and the score was tied 1-1 when we pulled our starting pitcher out of the game and put in our star pitcher, Duncan. What happened next was unimaginable, they scored 3 runs in a row.…
