Personal Narrative: I Am So. Bored?

"I'm. Am. So. Bored!"

I layed on the couch, fully sprawled out, looking at the ceiling as the tv plays some commercial about a limited time offer. Only three hours since I had woke up and I already felt bored, occupying my time with tv at first, but after awhile even television's sweet embrace wasn't enough to quell my boredom.

I then looked over at the coffee table, seeing the plate where my breakfast used to be, along with the tv remote, a magazine, and the note mom had left for me on the counter.

I then reached over, while trying not to move much, barely touched the bottom of the note and pulled it close enough to pick it up. Deciding it couldn't bore me anymore then I already am, I decided to read the note again:

Hey sweetie,

You were sleeping soundly when I woke up so I got ready and headed to work. There's breakfast in the fridge, snacks in the pantry, and chores I want you to do at the house since you have enough time today. Have fun and don't even think about going out that front door,

Mom.

At the bottom of the paper, poorly drawn, is a picture of what I assumed was my mom with shades on with, "Cool mom" written next to it. I yawned loudly, tossing the note into the air and getting up from the couch to walk around.

"Well," I said as I stretched,"I believe we spent enough time doing what mom asked, let's go outside."

0:( But, we're not supposed to leave the house.

>:) Has that really ever stopped up?

"He's right," I said heading up the stairs,"plus mom said, 'not to go out the front door' so we're gonna go through the back."

0:( why are we going

Saying by to Momma Skitles and Daddy Spree, I walked into my new sanitized room. I doubled over as the intensity of my hunger overtook me.…

11:00 am I wake up to a perfectly clean room with a perfect breakfast: sausage, pancakes, bacon, and cinnamon rolls all sitting right next to my bed. I eat my breakfast and get ready for the day. I go downstairs to see my friends Austen, Zach, and Elias down there holding four tickets to the Super Bowl game tonight and a jet sitting outside in the field. I had slept in a little past what we had planned on leaving by but it didn’t matter too much we still had plenty of time to do what we wanted to.…

The Logger of Ellwood Forest “The blade itself incites to deeds of violence.” Homer, The Odyssey Mrs. Rayes crossed the rented cabin foyer, her silk kimono slipping off her shoulders, and the ice-cubes in her glass of whisky clinking against one another as both of her hands shook; one hand gripping whisky and the other reaching for the brass knob of a garishly designed front door, “Laurence,” she said, throwing open the door and grabbing a hold of her son’s left elbow. “Please, Laurence, who taught you to knock so insistently? You’ve given me a migraine.” She complained.…

“Don’t forget, the paper is due next Wednesday!” My 8th period teacher, Mrs. Oakford told to my class and I as we streamed out of the cramped classroom on a Friday. We couldn’t wait to bust out of the schools doors and claim our prize of a short freedom for surviving another busy, exhausting, and slow week of middle school. I rushed to my locker, grabbed everything I would need for the homework due Monday, threw it in my bag and headed down the hall collecting my friends to walk to town to start what I would hope would be a slow but fun weekend off The weekend went quicker than I wished and before I knew it, it was late Sunday night and I still hadn’t done my homework, I realized this and got to work.…
